Enhanced solution to the surface–volume–surface EFIE for arbitrary metal–dielectric composite objects Research Article

Han WANG, Mingjie PANG, Hai LIN

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 7,   Pages 1098-1109 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2100387

Abstract: The surface–volume–surface electric field (SVS-EFIE) can lead to complex equations, laborious implementation, and unacceptable computational complexity in the . Therefore, a general matrix equation (GME) is proposed for electromagnetic scattering from arbitrary metal–dielectric s, and its enhanced solution is presented in this paper. In previous works, MoM solution formulation of SVS-EFIE considering only three-region metal–dielectric composite scatters was presented, and the two-stage process resulted in two integral operators in SVS-EFIE, which is arduous to implement and is incapable of reducing computational complexity. To address these difficulties, GME, which is versatile for homogeneous objects and s consisting of more than three sub-regions, is proposed for the first time. Accelerated solving policies are proposed for GME based on coupling degree concerning the spacing between sub-regions, and the coupling degree standard can be adaptively set to balance the accuracy and efficiency. In this paper, the reformed is applied for the strong coupling case, and the is presented for the weak coupling case. Parallelism can be easily applied in the enhanced solution. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method requires only 11.6% memory and 11.8% CPU time on average compared to the previous direct solution.

The Theorem of the Resistance of Hydraulic Machine's Materials to Cavitation Erosion and Abrasion

Wang Biao,Wang Yudong,Zhang Zihua,Ye Xianguo

Strategic Study of CAE 2003, Volume 5, Issue 7,   Pages 58-61

Abstract:

In order to confirm the dependence of the resistance of cavitation erosion and abrasion (CEA) on the common properties of materials, four typical materials (WC coating, NiCr alloy coating, boron stainless steel and titanium) were used to do the experiments of CEA and cavitation erosion (CE), to do corrosive experiment, and to test their hardnesses. The experiments results indicated that all resistance to CEA and resistance to CE depend on the hardness and the corrosive resistance of materials. The high hardness is the first factor of good resistance to CEA, strong corrosive resistance is the second factor. Meanwhile, the strong corrosive resistance is the first factor of good resistance to CE, high hardness is the second factor.

Hydration, microstructure and autogenous shrinkage behaviors of cement mortars by addition of superabsorbent

Beibei SUN, Hao WU, Weimin SONG, Zhe LI, Jia YU

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2020, Volume 14, Issue 5,   Pages 1274-1284 doi: 10.1007/s11709-020-0656-x

Abstract: Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP) has emerged as a topic of considerable interest in recent years. The present study systematically and quantitively investigated the effect of SAP on hydration, autogenous shrinkage, mechanical properties, and microstructure of cement mortars. Influences of SAP on hydration heat and autogenous shrinkage were studied by utilizing TAM AIR technology and a non-contact autogenous shrinkage test method. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) was employed to assess the microstructure evolution. Although SAP decreased the peak rate of hydration heat and retarded the hydration, it significantly increased the cumulative heat, indicating SAP helps promote the hydration. Hydration promotion caused by SAP mainly occurred in the deceleration period and attenuation period. SAP can significantly mitigate the autogenous shrinkage when the content ranged from 0 to 0.5%. Microstructure characteristics showed that pores and gaps were introduced when SAP was added. The microstructure difference caused by SAP contributed to the inferior mechanical behaviors of cement mortars treated by SAP.

These systems include the generating lock P<G ,X, X´> and single-tooth central encrypting system, and the generating lock P <G ,X, X´> and multi-tooth central encrypting system. The single-tooth encrypting-decrypting algorithm multi-tooth encrypting-decrypting algorithm, multi-tooth static encrypting-decrypting algorithm, multi-tooth dynamic encrypting-decrypting algorithm as well as the structure character of central encrypting system are provided. The paper points out that arbitrary two persons A and B can choose irregular distributed positive integer sets, XA={x1, x2, …,xn}, XB ={x1,x2,…xm}, m≥4, n≥4, XAXB , respectively and complete their secret communication with P < G, X, X´>. The experiment result shows that the method proposed has good application character and security character.
